Media Interview Essentials (4 hours, 6 delegates)

This half-day media Media Essentials training course will develop your media spokesperson skills, show you how to give a good interview and build your confidence in doing so. How to craft key messages, handle tricky questions, and perform well on camera.

Free Crisis Media Handling Notes

These notes include essential guidance on preparing for crises, managing media narratives, selecting spokespeople, and maintaining trust under pressure.

How you’ll learn

Training takes place at our central London training centres, and remote training via Zoom is also available.

Training is delivered by senior broadcast journalists who are also expert media trainers with extensive experience coaching spokespeople. You’ll take part in a series of practical mock interviews tailored to your role and industry. These are recorded and played back for analysis, with expert feedback to help you refine your technique.

After the session, you’ll receive full course notes, copies of your recordings, and a personalised post-training evaluation report with performance insights and practical steps for further improvement.
