Public Speaking Training

Learn how to give confident and engaging keynote speeches and presentations

This half-day public speaking training course helps those who talk to an audience grow confidence, eloquence and impact

What you’ll learn

Great orators know how to connect with their audience, read the room and hold it spellbound. We’ll discuss what these speakers have in common, the techniques they use and how you can use your own personal style to emulate their success. From structuring your speech and finding the right pace to projecting your voice and overcoming your nerves, the trainer will take you through the steps to becoming a more powerful public speaker.

How you’ll learn

Courses for individuals and or pairs take place at our central London training centres or your own offices. Delegates are taught by experienced coaches who analyse the style, structure, content and delivery of your presentation. Presentations are recorded for playback and the trainer uses constructive critique and, if necessary, demonstration to enhance your performance. After training, you’ll receive full course notes by email and a link from which to download copies of your recordings. Each delegate also receives their own, personalised post-training evaluation report from the trainer, assessing their performance during the course and providing suggestions, exercises and tips for continuing to improve and develop.

Who this Public Speaking Training is for

This course is for you if you want to improve your delivery or overcome nerves when giving speeches or presenting at conferences, team meetings, pitches and events.  You may want to follow this course with Panel Speaker Training which focuses on becoming an engaging participant at roundtables and panels.

If your focus is on interviews for the media, you may find our Studio Media Training or Bespoke Media Training courses helpful.
